Who am I

I’m Olivia Dirksen, a Sport Management major and Promotion minor at Gonzaga University with a relentless passion for the sports industry. I grew up in Davis, California and was raised to deep appreciation and love for sports as a whole. When a series of ACL tears ended my time as a competitive athlete, I channeled my love for sports into a new goal: working in the industry.

Currently, I’m gaining hands-on, fast-paced experience as a Sport Marketing and Promotions Intern for Gonzaga Athletics, and I proudly served as a Basketball Lead this year. As a former athlete, I bring a unique perspective to sports promotion, and I am incredibly excited to build a long-term career doing what I love.
