A Davis Summer

I am beyond excited to share that I’ve officially accepted a Marketing Internship with UC Davis Athletics for the upcoming summer!

As someone who lives and breathes sports, the opportunity to go behind the scenes with the Aggies is a dream come true. UC Davis has such a rich tradition of excellence both on the field and in the stands, and I can’t wait to contribute to that energy.

I grew up going to UC Davis football and basketball games which makes this opportunity all the more special.

This past year at Gonzaga University, I had the incredible opportunity to learn the ropes of sports marketing in one of the most electric environments in college athletics. My time with Gonzaga Athletics has taught me that a great game day isn't just about what happens on the court, it’s about the atmosphere you build for the fans.

I’ll be applying everything I learned in Spokane to my new role at Davis:

Game Day Operations: Taking the fast-paced, high-stakes experience of Gonzaga game days and applying that precision to Aggie events.

Creative Content: Utilizing my background in social media strategy and digital storytelling to highlight our student-athletes.

Fan Engagement: Bringing the same "Kennel Club" level of passion to help grow the Aggie student section and community presence.

During my time with the UC Davis Athletics Department, I’ll be focusing on:

Summer Programming: Helping kickstart the hype for the upcoming fall seasons.

Community Outreach: Connecting Davis locals and students with our various sports programs.

Brand Strategy: Working to keep the Aggie brand fresh, consistent, and exciting across all platforms.

I am also excited to experience the preparations for a football season, something I have not had the pleasure to experience here at Gonzaga.

Sports have a unique way of bringing people together, and marketing is the bridge that builds that connection. Moving from the WCC to the Big West is an incredible milestone in my career journey. I’m ready to soak up every bit of knowledge, tackle the fast-paced environment of CA sports, and, of course, wear a lot of Blue and Gold.

A huge thank you to my mentors at Gonzaga for preparing me for this next chapter. I can’t wait to get started. Go Ags!
